Where I Live

Well, I am now going to expose where I live to everyone on the internet! Joy!

But, nothing TOO specific.

I live in Schaumburg, Illinois, in an apartment complex called Hawthorn Estates, and no, that is NOT a typo, there is no ‘e’ at the end of Hawthorn, and it looks STUPID. It was formerly called Walden Woods, but then we got a new owner. And, the woods are nonexistant now, thanks to the convention center being built next door.

It’s really nice here, I hope we don’t have to move until I am out of high school, because It’s really nice here. For Illinois, at least.

We live across the street from the highway. Good stuff, that highway.

We also live right next to Motorola.

We can see Ikea from our balcony, but just barely. It still takes us like 30 minutes to actually get there, however. (crazy traffic up in here!)

Everything in that page advertising Hawthorn Estates is true, except for the woods part. No more woods. But everything else is great. Timely maintenance guys, great people, nice area, pretty scenery (if you look in the right places) and the like.

Sure, my car has had it’s windows smashed in before, but let’s blame that on Woodfield Gardens 12 Oaks at Woodfield, the apartment complex next door.

It’s a pretty cool area around here. Much better than the house we lived in before.

We live right next to one of the pools, and in fact in this picture taken off a website, you can see our building!
