Dear God, I’ve seen advertisements for this show, Yo Gabba Gabba! [you MUST watch that video, by the way… best representation of what I am talking about] on Nickelodeon, and it always struck me as totally fucking weird and insane and just oh em eff gee.

At first, when I saw the commercial, I just saw this black dude in bright clothing saying “YO GABBA GABBA!!!” and fucking dancing around. I was so dumbstruck by it, I mean… what the fuck? I was scared. Finally, my curiosity was SO piqued today that I HAD to find out more. Man, I was both surprised and not surprised. Just… wow.

Oh, and they got Tony Hawk too. Just saying.

So we were on the news this morning. Here’s one of the little segments we did. (if you see this any later than March 20, then you will probably have to select “FIRST Robotics” or whatever on there somewhere to see it) You can see me in the video at times. I included a screeny of me, because I rock that hard.

Oh, and as a bonus feature (ROFL don’t ask) here’s more proof that our robotics team is just a bunch of nerds. (truthfully it’s pretty funny, even if you don’t know these people) And, those people are our mentors. They work at Motorola.

The best thing I have ever seen*. Dude, Bob Saget is fucking AMAZING. If all you know about him is from Full House and America’s Funniest Home Videos, you need to get out more. He is an AWESOME comedian. He tells the dirtiest jokes, and it kicks ass, especially since everyone is used to him being so clean-cut and nice and everything. Dude, you need to watch this video of him singing a great song, “Danny Tanner is Not Gay“.

Hearing Danny Tanner say “fuck” is the best experience EVER.

I have a thing for free speech. No matter what the message, I want everyone to be heard. So, when I heard that Nick Gisburne got his WHOLE YouTube account deleted for putting up a video which isn’t (to me) all that offensive, I felt I should join in with the other people taking action. So, I reposted his video using my account.

Bear in mind, it doesn’t matter what I think about the message in the video. I thought that this guy should be heard, especially since from what I saw, nothing was that horrible.

So, some guy, seeing that I reposted the video, posted a video response to it. Which makes sense, that’s what free speech is all about. I think his opinion is valid, and deserves to be heard, like Nick Gisburne’s opinion is valid and deserves to be heard. He thinks that I agree with Gisburne (which is completely logical and makes total sense, I don’t fault him on that) and decided to include me
in his little video thing. So, I bring to you, my username (ihatecrayons) in a video saying I basically suck ass. Yay!

But now, it seems that the conflict has been resolved. I’ll still keep the video up for whatever reason. Fun fun fun.
